Buskers Wanted

Many things at Lilac Festival create a fun loving atmosphere. One part of the enjoyment is watching street performers. Buskers are considered performance artists and include jugglers, magicians, poets and balloon artists. These colorful characters add spice to life!

Busking for 2012:

• There will be a limit of 20 buskers, accepted on a first come first serve basis.

• There will be 6 designated Busker Zones and each busker will be scheduled two – 1 hour time slots at two different locations. These times will be provided when purchasing a permit from the 4th Street Festival Society office at 201- 501 18th Avenue Sw Calgary, Alberta T2S 0C7

• BUSKER PERMITS WILL NOT BE SOLD THE DAY OF THE EVENT.  Last day to purchase is the Friday before Lilac Festival.
